Montenegro 39th EPC Contracting state as of October 1st 2022
From October 1st, Montenegro is the 39th member state of the European Patent Organisation. Montenegro already was a extension state since 2010, a state where you could get protection if you requested so on time (and an extra payment). Only Bosnia and Herzegovina is now still a extension state. On the map below you will find all EPC member states. In blue the validation states, where you can validate a patent based on your EP.
