Philips Innovation Award Semi-final ‘The Battles’

The Philips Innovation Award (PHIA) is the Netherlands’ largest student-entrepreneur award organized by students for students aspiring to entrepreneurship. It has developed into a high profile event, in which many participants from all over the world take part every year. This year the PHIA has organized a special Semi-Final, ’The Battles’. During ‘The Battles’ 30 semi-finalists pitch their idea in front of a jury, all with their own area of expertise. Patent Attorney Raimond Haan is one of the jury members. Every Thursday an episode of ‘The Battles’ will be broadcasted via www.phia.nl/semi-final.

Only 8 startups will make it to the Grand Final. In the Grand Final on Monday 31th of May, they will compete for the grand prizes worth €10.000 (Rough Diamond league) and €50.000 Euros (Innovator league).
